What remains of Edana is to be gradually healed. Ripped of magic and life by the Magic Eater, Laela, it was risen from the sea by the Allmother. Upon Laela's defeat during
The Summoning, it was the Allmother's bidding that the people of Mythos and their Guardians take to the task of reviving Edana.
Each
subboard is in possession of a post counter. In order to cleanse the land, the posts must meet or exceed the post count requirement.
- All normal lands require 100 posts to cleanse. This includes the Dragonpit, the Valley of Kings, Cindertop, Faeforest, and the Silent Stones.
- All claimable, kingdom boards require 150 posts to cleanse and will open a claimable kingdom. This includes the City of Isdel, the City of Teloria, and the City of Ta'seti.
- It is not possible to cleanse the Outlands. Cursed with the perpetual blight that is Laela, the land will forever be without magic or life, but for the few who choose to roam it.
It is neither possible for the magic of the Guardians, nor the magic of the Allmother, to cleanse Edana entirely. Neither the Allmother nor the Guardians are native to the realm of Edana. While their power remains, it comes without question that the Gods of Edana, while long gone, have not been forgotten by the still-broken heart of the realm.
