Fyr was immediately abandoned in the Adoption Den the moment after he was born when he came into the world summoning ghosts and setting everything around him to flame. His birth mother labeled him as TERRIBLE and that single word has stayed with him ever since. He was a sad and lonely child in the Den because the other children would avoid him due to his abilities, frightened of the things that he could do and couldn't quite control. Adopted by Aela (& Obscene in a secondhand way) in the Summer of 216.

Encouraged by his adoptive mother, he worked on mastering his many god-given talents. Then the South split apart and submerged beneath the sea, taking Fyr with it.

He eventually washed up on the Isle (with nightmares of drowning) and spent some time there regaining his strength as well as meeting Leilan and Nashua (the latter who wasn't very nice). Using his gift of fire to build a flaming bridge between the Isle and the Mainland, he started to slowly try to find his way back to where his old home had been and searching for the rest of the Pampas court, especially his mother Aela. Along the way he met an angel (who was also his fraternal grandmother) before going to Pangea. There he met Lillibet, another displaced Southerner, and liked her enough to stay in the desert with her as she took over as the Crown. Since washing up on the Isle, he had not touched his Soul Summoning with the fear of finding out Aela is dead. It's resulted in a spirit entity (demons from the other side) who he called TERRIBLE influencing him.

Fyr let the voices in his head and his jealousy get the best of him when Bolder appeared in the dry canyons of Pangea, looking for Lillibet. In an explosive use of angry fire power mixing with the souls that he had denied to come through the connection for so long, Fyr attacked the moon-faced young stallion (nicknamed Moon-Boy) unaware that Lillibet was also in the chaotic mix. The three of them were transported into the ruins of the Allmother's temple in the blast, leaving Beqanna and everything (and everyone) they had known behind.

Overcome by shame and weak from the injuries he had sustained from the blast and the spirits, he left Bolder and Lillibet behind and set out on his own. Sick to the point of hallucinating, he finally ended up in Queensthrone and thought his eyes must be playing tricks on him when no other than Aela was caught in the crowds.

Reunited with Aela and then Obscene, he was healed within the hidden confines of the newly established Faerie Court. With some trepidation, he did approach the Allmother's crystal despite his misgivings about his abilities, knowing he did not feel completely whole without them either.

One day he awoke changed, wearing the physical attributes of a demon after being one of many cursed beneath the Guardian of Accord, Thora.

Novice
Fyr constantly has flames along his shoulders that sometimes react according to his mood and cannot feel heat (mastered at this stage). Might have a hard time controlling his flames and they may change color and temperature at random. Can only summon one soul at this stage and have a weak hold on them (up to an hour), making him susceptible to becoming a victim to them if they are malevolent.

Intermediate
Will have a little better control over his fire but it might still occasionally have a mind of its own. Can use his fire defensively (shields or a wall of fire for protection) with ease but offensive manipulations (like weapons or a blast of fireballs) will require extreme concentration and may tire him easily. Will have better control over the souls he conjures (up to two if wanted) and can give them easy to follow instructions (but no promise they will behave). Still susceptible to bad influences (even more so if demonic curse is active)

Advanced (Locked)
Can control his fire and rarely has outbursts or loss of control over them. Fully mastered defensively shapes and manipulations at this stage. Weapons and offensive fire magic requires minimal concentration, may still tire easily after use. Can summon up to three souls and will be less susceptible to malevolent entities. May be able to summon more powerful souls now which holds its own kind of risk.

Proficient (Locked)
Complete control over his flames. Will be able to explore more powerful shapes and manipulations that still require some concentration, this ability is nearly mastered. Can summon up to four souls and stand a better chance of holding his own against very powerful spirits as well as having a stronger chance at bending them to his will.

Master (Locked)
Can use all abilities beneath Fire Manipulation at any time for as long as he wants. Can summon unlimited souls and rarely is effected by them. Souls may still resist but the odds are much higher in Fyr's favor.
